I have experience working with men and women experiencing anxiety and depression, addictive online behavior (pornography, social media, video games), and the pain that sits behind these behaviors. After a decade in the world of support groups, I have developed a posture of shame-free intentionality that allows us to look together at the truth of where your life is without the fear of judgment or criticism. We can approach the goals you have for therapy in a non-directive, person-centered perspective or work through a more specific Acceptance and Commitment Therapy framework. I received my Master of Arts in Counseling from B. H. Carroll Theological Institute.
When I am not in session, you will find me prepping for my next weekly gaming night or talking with my wife around our shared love of Tolkien, Chesterton and other 20th Century writers. I am taking new clients for individual sessions and will be working towards forming groups in early 2024 to make therapy as accessible as possible.
