How do I get started?

Do you accept insurance?
Rehope Counseling is an out-of-network provider, meaning we do not directly bill or accept insurance for services. However, there are several advantages to choosing private pay, even if you have insurance:

  • More Freedom in Choosing a Counselor: With private pay, you have the flexibility to choose a counselor who truly fits your needs, without being limited by insurance networks.

  • Broader Scope of Services: Private pay allows you to receive counseling for a wide range of concerns that may not be covered by insurance, such as relationship issues, communication struggles, or other personal growth topics.

  • No Mental Health Diagnosis Required: Unlike insurance-based services, private pay counseling doesn’t require a formal mental health diagnosis, which means your personal health records remain free of diagnostic labels.

  • Flexibility in Treatment: Without insurance restrictions, your counselor can work with you to determine the right number of sessions and frequency, based solely on your goals and progress.

  • Personalized Goal Setting: Private pay gives you more freedom to create and pursue goals that are meaningful to you, without insurance constraints.

Out-of-Network Benefits

While we do not directly bill insurance, some insurance companies may reimburse for out-of-network services. If you have a PPO plan, we can provide a "super bill"—a detailed receipt with specific service codes and license information—that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

We encourage you to contact your insurance provider directly to inquire about coverage for out-of-network counseling services and the reimbursement process.
